REICHRICHTER

REICHRICHTER is a German artist duo consisting of Rebekka Reich and Marcus Vila Richter. They received Master of Arts Degrees in architecture at Technical University Braunschweig, scenography at Zurich University of the Arts and cinematography at University of Applied Science Dortmund. The skills accrued in their individual careers in architecture, dance, scenography and filmmaking merged pertinently, heightening their sensibility for space.

In 2012 they turned up with a solo exhibition of the video installation “Zurich” at Boutique Art Space in Cologne. The work was later awarded as best work at LOOP Video Art Fair in Barcelona and two editions were acquired by the Foundation of Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art and by private collector Haro Cumbusyan. Now they work for 6 month in Taiwan at different artist residencies.

REICHRICHTER was selected as the Emerging Artist of Bamboo Curtain Studio in 2014.
