Liu Tien

Liu Tien, a graduate from Department of Mathematics, Beijing Institute of Technology, was studied in China Academy of Art in Hangzhou.  He is working and living in Hangzhou currently.  The exhibition of his works can be found in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, London and Macau.  His works always presented by photography and video.

During his residential in Bamboo Curtain Studio, he will focus on Eight Scenes in Danshui and discuss the topic of geographical scenery and tourist attractions, landscape- history- story- legend, the material reality and fiction, observation and imagination.  He is interested in modern issues for Chinese people in different places.
