Vivian Wenli Lin
Vivian Wenli Lin is an Taiwanese-American video artist, documentary filmmaker, and media educator who was born and raised in San Francisco, California. At the age of 12, she began creating video portraits with her father’s VHS camera, using the lens as a means to deconstruct the feminine myth.
Vivian Wenli Lin specially arranged the video screenings, inviting the students from the workshop and their families and friends to participate. Most of the participants will be in attendance to share and exchange their work and experiences. The students that were involved in the filming are all very excited!
Bamboo Curtain Studio Artist-in-Residence Vivian Wenli Lin holds a photography and video production workshop.
“2013 Creative Program” calls for three categories: cross discipline arts; ecology and environment;community engagement. This program will provide three artists with either a free studio or accommodation space (a choice of only one) for up to two months.
Bamboo Curtain Studio (BCS) select six national and international artists/groups in the program. It is expected that their projects will bring in new ideas and perspectives and their work will show the diversity of art in the world.
