International Consultant Charles Landry’s Proposes Strategies and Recommendations for Creative City Development
Bamboo Curtain Studio invited international “Creative Cities” consultant Charles Landry to Taipei in mid-October to conduct a large-scale public lecture on the significance of the creative city.
The City-to-City Cultural Exchange Conference annually brings together intellectuals, cultural policy makers, frontline cultural workers and scholars concerned with cultural development.
Res Artis, an International Art Village Organization, held its annual meeting at Tokyo Wonder Site in Tokyo, Japan from October 26th to October 28th, 2012.
In 2010, he was selected by the Council for Cultural Affairs as the visual and performing artist to attend an abroad residency and exchange program at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, France. He was selected for Bamboo Curtain Studio’s new Artist-in-Residency program in 2012.
Bamboo Curtain Studio presents "AIR: The Journey of the Artist’s Mind,” including Ding Chang Wen’s dual exhibition opening "Memory, The Night Market in Two Cities,” An Junshi’s outdoor art installation “The Blessing of the North Coast," and a presentation of French dancer Claude AYMON’s collaboration with a creative team of eco-dancers.
In 2012, we focus more on “Creative Talents” which their projects will bring out new ideas, concepts to their communities, societies and the world without regard to the age, gender, race and nationality. Application period is 1st September until 31st October 2012.
