Michael Vincent Malano
Michael Vincent Manalo 擅長在藝術作品中利用複合式的媒材創作，同時他也是為音樂家。他的作品大多是由懷舊式的影像記憶和如夢境般的自然環境做為啟發，紀錄了一種衰退的意象，這種意象多以滅絕後的文明和噩夢般創作作為形象呈現。
Manalo曾在多個國家舉辦過展覽，包含澳洲、亞塞拜然、喬治亞、德國、義大利、南韓、日本、立陶宛、菲律賓、波蘭、塞爾維亞、臺灣、英國和美國。他在義大利的基安奇安諾泰爾梅美術館（Art Museum of Chianciano Terme）的數位藝術類別（Digital Art Category）中得到第一名，也曾在美國華盛頓雷蒙數位藝術節（Redmond digital art festival）中得到最佳攝影。他的創作在很多雜誌上都曾經出現過，像是英國的Advanced Photoshop 雜誌和 Fotoblur 雜誌。
目前，Malano也擔任書籍雜誌或封面的平面設計師，他主要的國際客戶有加拿大的Playwrights公司、英國的Birlinn Ltd公司、義大利的Garzanti Libri公司。他在2014年獲選為竹圍工作室新秀藝術家，並於同年8到9月駐村於竹圍工作室。

My projects and activities ranged greatly. I met printmakers, skateboarders, and the indigenous. I made sure to experience Taipei, and the nature of Taiwan. I taught kids to skateboard in Maoli, as well as printmaking. I traveled to Sandimen and stayed with the Paiwan where I learned of their rich crafts and cultural preservation. While there I made several works along side masters that ended up being part of my final installation at BCS Open Studio. The experience was powerful in showing me the mutual connections that can be snd should be made between western people and non-western/indigenous people.
