Adam Avikainen
Visual Arts | USA Born in 1978 in the USA, Adam Avikainen has traveled extensively and showed his work worldwide. This year, he has been invited by the 2012 Taipei Biennale. To prepare his work, he will be staying at Bamboo Curtain Studio, Taiwan.
Mie Theatre / Hu Chia
Performance | Taiwan Hu Chia is currently the Art Director of Mie Theatre. His work is the fusion of the spirits of Martial arts and the art of calligraphy that presents on stage the static beauty of originality. Hu Chia founded Mietheatre in Feb 2008, which is evolved from Tsuen Ti School and practice room. Pupil of internationally acclaimed Martial Arts Chi Kung Master – Chen Ming Luen. Legend Lin Dance Theatre and Guo Tuo Drama Group. Martial art director of MV commercials.
The UnifiedField
The Unifiedfield is an independent art space and artist-run organization focusing on the experimental aspects of sound, video and performance art. It previously occupied a traditional complex amongst rice fields in Yogyakarta (Indonesia), subsequently moving into a cave in Granada (Spain) before settling in an antique building nestled in Granada’s historical Moorish quarters, the Albayzín, where it currently runs its Artist-In-Residence (AIR) programme.
