自稱洋媳婦的蕭麗虹用買菜錢支持藝術，從收藏家成為藝術家之後，以寓言式的創作來表達他對社會現象的反省和觀察。他成立竹圍工作室，陪伴許多藝術家成長、轉型。2016年發起的「布布計畫」呈現六組年輕藝術工作者以創意思維和實際行動回應了當今的社會需求，見證藝術與社會交流的意義與價值。

ENGLISH version

Margaret Shiu, as an expatriate wife, has supported the arts with her pocket money for over 30 years.  While so doing, she transformed from a collector to an artist. Her works tended to use allegorical expression to show her observation and criticism on social phenomenon.  After founding Bamboo Curtain Studio, Shiu spent time with many creative talents to develop their career.  The "BOOBOO" project is one such example to show how artists respond to current social matters via their creative thinking and actions; in so doing, validate the social value of the arts.
