Zhao Lidong

Zhao Lidong studies photography at Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, Germany, since 2013. In 2010 he graduated from Nanjing Xiaozhuang University and received B.A. in painting. After graduating, he worked at “Open Gallery” and as journalist for Beijing’s “99 Art Web”.  

His works were exhibited at “Photokina academy 2014, Cologne, Germany” and at the “Rundgang exhibition of Folkwang University of the Arts 2014”

In 2015, he was invited by curator Yves Chiu for one month residency at Bamboo Curtain Studio and to participated in the exhibition “M.E.L.Ting Project – One Year Conversation: Thread, Ghost Story, Escape.”
