Wu, Chi-Yu

WU Chi-Yu is an artist who currently bases in Taipei. He is a member of artists collective, Fuxinghen Studio. WU Chi-Yu graduated from Master of Fine Arts, Department of New Media Art, Taipei National University of the Arts in 2011. His artistic practice focuses on the record and the reproduction of oral history and local rumor. Theme of the first Solo Education is The Ten Thousand Beings, VT Art salon ,Taipei. From 2014-2015, he had been to the residency program at Rijksakademie in Amsterdam; and at Seoul Art Space Geumcheom in 2013. Chi-Yu had participated several international exhibition, such as “The 2nd “CAFAM- Future” Exhibition” in Beijing and “FEST - New Directors New Films Festival” in Portugal. WU Chi-Yu is the selected artist of Bamboo Curtain Studio“2016 International Artist Exchange Program”.  He will stay at Baan Noorg Collaborative Arts & Culture, Thailand from 16th June to 7th July.
