Adam Avikainen at Bamboo Curtain Studio
During his residency at Bamboo Curtain Studio, Adam spent much of his time exploring the grounds collecting plants and other organic matter. He would then crush their leaves and juices into liquid pigments with a juicer that he purchased upon his arrival in Taipei.

In collaboration with the Taipei National University of the Arts International Master of Fine Arts Program in Cultural and Creative Industries, two interns from Guatemala join the cultural studies and international exchange workforce this September!

Hsi, Shih-Ping: A Horoscope Built Out of Our Chariots
Hsi Shih-Ping was selected as one of the artists of Bamboo Curtain Studio‘s Emerging Artists in 2009, and as the residency artist of Tung Ho Steel Enterprise Co. in 2010. In addition, he was selected for “Made in Taiwan-Young Artist Discovery” in Art Taipei 2011.
Saif Osmani "My Place On The Isle: Exploring Faith & Identity"
Saif Osmani was selected as one of the artists of Bamboo Curtain Studio‘s Emerging Artists program in 2011. His four paintings have been selected to be included in the exhibition "My Place On The Isle: Exploring Faith & Identity" at Mica Gallery, London. This exhibition aims to capture a snapshot of British Diaspora creative talent in the prelude to the Olympics.
