Results of 2016 Bamboo Curtain Studio Creative Talents Program OPEN CALL
Bamboo Curtain Studio have devoted into issues about ecology, community and the sustainable development in nature over the past years. We entitle the Creative Talents Program in 2016 as “Creative Collaboration as Catalyst for Change”, and we are glad for inviting these artists to join us, each artist is award 2 months free living or exhibition space at Bamboo Curtain Studio.
Tsai Kuen-Lin, Zhan Jia-Hua and Chuang Hui-Lin nominated for “Creative Fusion” international residency programme by Cleveland Foundation
We are delighted to announce that Tsai, Kuen-Lin becomes a resident at waterloo arts from September to November, 2016 in Cleveland. Zhan Jia-Hua and Chuang, Hui-Lin have nominated to go for a three-month residency next Spring.

2015 is the 20th anniversary of BCS. We not only held a retrospective exhibition but also run a series of events to celebrate all throughout the year. Each event are linked to the slogan “Share, Connect and Co-create”. This coming year, we will continue, develop the theme of “Social Change”, we entitle the program as “Creative Collaboration as Catalyst for Change”. Bamboo Curtain Studio International Residency Exchange Program with Gyeonggi Creation Center (GCC)
Bamboo Curtain Studio (BCS) is collaborating with Gyeonggi Creation Center (GCC) in South Korea for our International Residency Exchange Program this year. As a representative of BCS, Taiwanese artist Yawen Fu will begin her 2-month residency in Korea this September.
Alecia Neo: Unseen
In 2012, visual artist Alecia Neo embarked on her Taiwan residency at Bamboo Curtain Studio. Here she organised a one-month photography workshop with Eden Social Welfare Foundation, working with the visually-impaired to explore ways to express themselves through photography.
