Welcome to our new podcast “Art Connect”. This podcast is made by Bamboo Curtain Studio, an alternative art space for artist residency in Taiwan, and is hosted by editor Analeigh and curator Yipei. In the first season of ‘Art Connect’, we are gonna do a special edition of 12 episodes on COVID-19 and arts.

Have you ever been to Bamboo Curtain Studio? Since the birth of the environmental art project, Art as Environment- A Cultural Action at the Plum Tree Creek, and during all of our Open Studio sessions, we have been playing with the idea of connecting together community, ecology, environment, and art. We would like to invite you to play in our wonderful space that cohabits with the beautiful Tamsui riverbank in the Zhuwei area.

“2014 International Residency Project” calls for three categories: cross discipline arts; ecology and environment; community engagement. In 2014, BCS will provide five artists with either a free studio or accommodation space (a choice of only one) for up to two months.
