“Hello, Taiwan” invites young Taiwanese artist Pei-Hsuan Wang, and Bamboo Curtain Studio Marketing Manager Bess Lee to talk about art in contemporary Taiwan. What perspectives do emerging artists share, how are works developed in a time of rapid change, and what roles do artist collectives, new or established, play in the visual art world in Taiwan?

Located along the Xindian River in Taipei City, Treasure Hill Artist Village was listed in 2004 as the first “historical architectural community” by the Taipei City Department of Cultural Affairs.

Bamboo Curtain Studio presents "AIR: The Journey of the Artist’s Mind,” including Ding Chang Wen’s dual exhibition opening "Memory, The Night Market in Two Cities,” An Junshi’s outdoor art installation “The Blessing of the North Coast," and a presentation of French dancer Claude AYMON’s collaboration with a creative team of eco-dancers.
