It is important not to give an exotic view on Southeast Asian art practice. It is better to find similarities in practices here in the Benelux and there.

I am working on the work of ART which based on designing and I am interested in contemporary culture. Being a hybrid mix of an artist and a product designer has triggered me to notice the changing of contemporary culture up to now. It has also encouraged me to question on the values, the new aesthetic feeling, and the objects surrounding me. Moreover, this form of art has introduced me to see things from different point of view in order to manage or utilize any available materials appropriately.

Jo Hodges & Robbie Coleman

Robbie Coleman and Jo Hodges have a shared multidisciplinary public arts practice. Robbie Coleman has a background in sculpture and live art; project manages large-scale public arts projects and is Co- Director of the  D-LUX  light festival and co-curator  The Environmental Arts Festival Scotland. Jo Hodges has a background in Human Ecology and social justice. Jointly their work investigates ecological and socio-cultural systems, processes and relationships, and explores new strategies for working in the public space.

I am creating my works by events, tours and records of performances and statues about '' Expansion of body by materialization of body ''. I intervene in nature, human groups and social system, and consider how each human should be in community, and practice how wide we can expand our body (not only outside, but also inside). Through these practices, I think we can re-measure gigantic affairs as human scale.

Awika Samuksaman

Awika Samukrsaman was born in 1991 in Surin, Thailand. She received her Bachelor of Fine and Applied Arts Program in Textile, Costume, Garment and Fashion Design from Thammasat University. Living and working in Nonthaburi, Thailand, She is interested in learning and developing basic weaving for everyday use and communication which is rooted from traditional Culture and has been a part of everyday life. Awika’s interest in texture in textile works has brought her into folk wisdom among local ethnic groups.

Huang Wei-Chien

Huang Wei-Chien graduated with a Master's degree from the Institute of Visual Arts, National Chiayi University, and was artist in residence at the Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park, Japan; Bywood of Ciaotou Sugar Refinery, Kaohsiung, Taiwan; and the Art Site of Chayi Railway Warehouse, Taiwan. In the 38th CICA International Competition of L'Alcora in 2018, Huang was not only finalist, but also received a special award as the public's favourite.

“Pei-Chi Lee is a creative maker and an illustrator, who lives and works around good people, good food and good times. She makes works that are inspired by the unexpected narratives that are found in relationships between people and the environment. Using a sense of humour and a whimsical aesthetic throughout her practice, Pei-Chi likes to use a wide range of materials to create kinetic movement to tell stories with an emphasis on tactility and interaction with the viewers.
