野原位 Tadashi Nohara
Born 1983 in Tochigi, Japan. Graduated Meiji Univ. faculty of Science and Engineering. Entered the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo Univ. of the Arts in 2007, and studied under Kiyoshi Kurosawa. Directed the film “Kyoko” starring Shinobu Terajima, which is a part of the omnibus film ”LUSH LIFE”(2009) based on Kotaro Isaka’s novel. As his graduation work, he directed the film “Elephant Love ”(2009) starring Issei Ishida.
許婉婧 Koh Wan Ching
Koh Wan Ching is a bilingual performer, director and theatre educator from Singapore who has worked with companies including Drama Box, Nine Years Theatre, The Theatre Practice as well as Toy Factory Theatre Ensemble. Being selected by Bamboo Curtain Studio “Creative Talents Program”, Shin Rock will stay at Bamboo Curtain Studio for one month since December. The one-month creative residency in December 2016 will culminate in a work in progress presentation. In addition, there will be 3 workshops conducted by the artists in residence.
葉嘉文 Ip Ka Man
Co-artistic Director of Dirks Theatre (Hong Kong and Macau) Ka Man is an actor, director and theatre educator. Ip Ka Manwill stay at Bamboo Curtain Studio for one month since December. The one-month creative residency in December 2016 will culminate in a work in progress presentation. In addition, there will be 3 workshops conducted by the artists in residence.
胡美寶 Wu May Bo
Co-artistic Director of Dirks Theatre (Hong Kong and Macau). May Bo has extensive experience in teaching, performing and creating theatre, and has presented her work in America, England, Japan, Korea, Portugal, Slovenia, Taiwan, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Macau. The one-month creative residency in December 2016 will culminate in a work in progress presentation. In addition, there will be 3 workshops conducted by the artists in residence.
金新綠 Shin Rock, Kim
Shin Rock Kim is an actor, physical performer, creator, movement choreographer, workshop leader, and theater educator based in Seoul,Korea. Being selected by Bamboo Curtain Studio “Creative Talents Program”, Shin Rock will stay at Bamboo Curtain Studio for one month since December. The one-month creative residency in December 2016 will culminate in a work in progress presentation. In addition, there will be 3 workshops conducted by the artists in residence.
Yeonjeong Kim
Yeonjeong Kim is interested in various types of human acts with environment, space, nature, and history, and then uses multi-media such as video, performance, installation, photography, sound and text to express the emotions or conflicts. Yeonjeong will stay at Bamboo Curtain Studio for three months since 8th of November, 2016.
劉星佑 Sing-You Liou
Liou tries to bring new perception to ancient painting works, and is now moving his way toward curation and art critics. Being selected by Bamboo curtain studio “Creative Talents Program”, Han Sheng will stay at bamboo curtain studio for two months since November.
陳漢聲 Han Sheng Chen
Han Sheng Chen is familiar with experimental animation, mixed media and kinetic installation. From his identity and the background of agriculture, he reached out to focus on the tension between human and nature. Elements of plant, memory, farmland, factories…etc. are often seen in his works.Recently put the focus on gender equality, and co-founded the exhibition project Coexist, trying to open more conversation by the means of creation, art, and exhibition space.
