I am creating my works by events, tours and records of performances and statues about '' Expansion of body by materialization of body ''. I intervene in nature, human groups and social system, and consider how each human should be in community, and practice how wide we can expand our body (not only outside, but also inside). Through these practices, I think we can re-measure gigantic affairs as human scale.
Daisuke Kuroda
Daisuke Kuroda was born in Kyoto in 1982. Kuroda has been producing videos, sculptures, and installations that focus on physical conditions of topography and climate, and the human stories of history.
Taiyo Tono
TaiyoTono was born in Osaka city in Japan. Currently lives and works in Osaka. Taiyo has its own production process. Introduction Make some models. And constitutes the model and develops it into paintings. The three-dimensional model shows what I feel at that time. By making a model, I can draw a picture with reality that I can not express with imagination alone.
Hidemi Nishida
Hidemi Nishida was born in Otaru city in Hokkaido in 1986, currently lives and works in Tokyo. He studied Design in Sapporo and obtained a Masters of Fine Art at the Bergen Academy of Art and Design in Norway. His architectural background brings together functional making with an interest in intimate transformations of our environment. Nishida questions our milieu, deconstructing and adapting existing structures or materials or even whole landscapes in order to refresh our view of the world.
葛谷允宏 Nobuhiro Kuzuya
Apart from being one of the founding members of the artist-run space Haisyakkei, Nobuhiro Kuzuya also set up the art space cum bar 'conflict able cube' which hosts art events and live music. He also makes his own work and has participated in residency programs both domestically within Japan and overseas in Thailand.
Keiko Uenishi 上西啟子
Currently splitting time between Brooklyn, New York and Vienna, Austria, sound art-i-vist, socio/environ composer, and a core member of SHARE.nyc (http://share.dj/share) since 2001, Keiko Uenishi is known for her works formed through experiments in restructuring and analyzing one's relationship with sounds in sociological, cultural, and/or psychological environments.
野原位 Tadashi Nohara
Born 1983 in Tochigi, Japan. Graduated Meiji Univ. faculty of Science and Engineering. Entered the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo Univ. of the Arts in 2007, and studied under Kiyoshi Kurosawa. Directed the film “Kyoko” starring Shinobu Terajima, which is a part of the omnibus film ”LUSH LIFE”(2009) based on Kotaro Isaka’s novel. As his graduation work, he directed the film “Elephant Love ”(2009) starring Issei Ishida.
Shoko Aso
In 2016, Shoko Aso is elected to be one of the Creative Talents of Bamboo Curtain Studio, and will have her residency for three weeks starting from March 21st.
