“Pei-Chi Lee is a creative maker and an illustrator, who lives and works around good people, good food and good times. She makes works that are inspired by the unexpected narratives that are found in relationships between people and the environment. Using a sense of humour and a whimsical aesthetic throughout her practice, Pei-Chi likes to use a wide range of materials to create kinetic movement to tell stories with an emphasis on tactility and interaction with the viewers.

Cheng Jen-Pei

Born in 1983 in Kaohsiung lives in Taipei, Chen Jen Pei had residency in France, Vietnam and the Philippines for food research and art works. The statement is about food how to be expressed in history and culture, as well as to explore the local conditions and customs of their own cultural differences. The summer of 2014 began a long-term project with strangers in Paris focusing on the relationship between food culture and memory.

Ria Rajan

Ria Rajan was born in 1985, she is a visual Artist, Designer, and Illustrator. She was the Design Lead in Brainwave Magazin and now works as an independent artist and designer in RRAD.IN. Her work spans across mediums both analog and digital, including drawing, painting, image making, sculptural explorations and interventions in spaces.

Sajata Epps aka(SajaTa-E)

Sajata Epps aka (SAJATA-E) is a clothing and textile artist using plant dye as her main source of color application. She lives in the South Bronx, NYC where she develops farm spaces for her community members to utilize for arts programming and free produce production. Sajata believes that sustainability is a full life style shift that doesn't just end at smarter art practices. As a zero waste advocate Sajata-E grows her own food as well as her own plant dyes in order to control the amount of waste she produces in her art practice as well as her life.

Sunhee Lee

Sunhee Lee was born in 1984, now lives and works in Korea. 2007 she graduated from sculpture, Collage of Arts, Chungnam National University (B.F.A), and in 2011 got the Master degree of Sculpture, Graduate School of Arts, Kookmin University (M.F.A). Her solo exhibitions included 2014 So many ways to begin, Gyeonggi Creation center, Ansan ; 2016 The way to see the sky in my life, Arthall GONG, Seoul ; 2017 Thought from the past for the days to live, Banjul chalet, Seoul.

游雅蘭 YU, YA-LAN

Yu Ya-Lan was born in 1987 in Yunlin, Taiwan. Yu obtained both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Fine Arts from the Taipei National University of the Arts in 2010 and 2014 respectively. The artist uses printmaking as a creative medium to depict inner feelings we experience everyday, but are unable to accurately express in words. Yu believes that memories and induced emotional feelings vary over time. The reason why she uses the woodcut technique is because once a cut is made, it cannot be unmade.

TAIING Studio

About TAIING Studio This is a workshop formed by three drawing addicts with spatial design background. We hope to reach out and discuss the characteristics of Taiwan Cities through our creation. TAIING Studio is selected as one of the residency groups of Bamboo Curtain Studio "2018 Creative Talents Program". Madhu Das

Madhu Das (India) lives and works in Mumbai. His artistic practice incorporate multi-disciplinary expressions; focuses on  investigating social and political issues by getting close to landscape, both physically and psychologically, the work traverses between fact and fiction, dealing with the projection of identity onto the social and natural world: in a way that the two are woven together in the space.
