As artists Christin Wahlström in 2013 and Krystallia Sakellariou in 2014, Tor is rewarded by Konst i Hallands artist-in-residence grant 2015 from Sweden and will be working at Bamboo Curtain Studio for three months.

Chen Chia-Jen

Chen Chia-Jen is recommended by Bamboo Curtain Studio for a three months residency at Cemeti Art House.

Tsai Kuen-Lin

Kuen-Lin was nominated by Bamboo Curtain Studio. In fall 2015, the Cleveland foundation awarded him three months residency with Waterloo Art Gallery.

Le Phi Long

Phi Long was born in 1988 in Hue. He is currently a visual artist based in HCMC, Vietnam. Phi Long graduated in interior design at Hue Fine Art University in 2012, and then participated and became a member of residency eNAME Art Center in Hanoi, Vietnam. In 2013 he was resident artist at San Art Laboratory, HCMC, Vietnam. In 2015, Long is the selected artist of the “International Residency Exchange Program” between Bamboo Curtain Studio and San Art Laboratory.

The Finger Players

The Finger Players is one of Singapore’s leading theatre companies, known for its visually and emotionally charged productions, and its signature style of puppetry. The company has won numerous awards such as the President’s Design Award 2007, and multiple Life! Theatre Awards including Best Production of the Year in 2005, 2012 and 2013 respectively.

Stephanie Cheung

Stephanie is currently Curator of the Hong Kong Institute of Contemporary Culture’s MaD (Make a Difference) platform and oversees its programme design and creative directions. During the period of stay, she is going to explore the stories of aboriginal people who live in big city. Through interview, she could understand more about them and use organic way to co-produce the stories.
