Chun-Liang, Liu

Chun-liang Liu is an interdisciplinary artist previously based in Melbourne and now in Taipei. She is the creative director for Long Distance Collective Theatre Company in Taiwan and a theatre/dance critic for http://pareviews.ncafroc.org.tw. She is currently working on a 3-year project “Food Concert” co-produced by Taipei Arts Festival and Castlemaine State Festival.

Po-yen WANG

Poyen Wang was born in 1987, Taichung, Taiwan. His practice utilizes digital media as a primary medium to examine how the archived memories in the digital realm affect our perception of reality, and how synthetic identities oscillate between the fabricated and the authentic, the performed and the documented, the private and the public. He received his master’s degree in New Media Art from Taipei National University of the Arts in 2015, and his second master’s degree at the School of Visual Arts with a Paula Rhodes Award in Computer Art in 2017.

Tang Wei Hsu (b. 1980 Taiwan) is an international artist based in New York. He is a recipient of the Asian Cultural Council Fellowship (2009) and was a residency artist of the international studio & curatorial program, Brooklyn (2011).

Chen Yow-Ruu is an artist, theatre director and performer. Graduated from Taipei National University of the Arts with MFA degree in Directing, her works often integrate local environment, using sound, video, installation and live performances as creative tactics. She has worked for many theatre companies such as Yang Ching-Hsiang Ensemble, We Theatre, Creative Sociery and All U People Theatre, and also participated in many theatre projects. She likes to use mixture of forms and sound for developing theme in each performance works.

游雅蘭 YU, YA-LAN

Yu Ya-Lan was born in 1987 in Yunlin, Taiwan. Yu obtained both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Fine Arts from the Taipei National University of the Arts in 2010 and 2014 respectively. The artist uses printmaking as a creative medium to depict inner feelings we experience everyday, but are unable to accurately express in words. Yu believes that memories and induced emotional feelings vary over time. The reason why she uses the woodcut technique is because once a cut is made, it cannot be unmade.

劉致宏 Chihhung Liu

Chihhung Liu, born in Hsinchu (Taiwan) in 1985. He graduated from M.F.A Program, Department of Fine Arts at Taipei National University of the Arts. He is a freelancer/artist who lives and works in Taipei currently. Recent paintings embody his understanding of life and his personal experiences. His approach to narration and interpretation from a mundane perspective allows him to tightly interlock emotions and
images.

From Taipei, Taiwan Taipei National University of the Arts, Department of Dance Graduate program, major in Choreography , Artistic Director at PITA Production. Choreography for street dance company, musical dance and contemporary dance art. Creation is usually made to deconstruct the current life, exploring human beings’ body culture through interdisciplinary collaborations. Music plays an important role in choreography. There is no direct narrative storyline in dance pieces but truly expressing our real feeling existing in our body experiences.
